After 12th science, you have a wide range of strong careers, far beyond just engineering and medicine, depending on whether you took PCM, PCB, or both. Science is one of the most flexible streams, opening doors across technology, healthcare, research, and even non-science fields, so the right choice depends on your interests.
For PCM students. Beyond engineering, options include architecture, data science and AI, computer applications (BCA), pure sciences and research, defence, merchant navy, pilot training, and design. PCM also keeps doors open to fields like economics and finance.
For PCB students. Beyond MBBS, options include dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, physiotherapy, biotechnology, microbiology, nutrition, agriculture, veterinary science, psychology, and biomedical fields. Many of these are growing and do not depend solely on NEET.
For PCMB students. You get the widest choice, you can pursue medical, engineering, or pure science paths, giving maximum flexibility to decide later.
Do not forget cross-stream options. Science students can also enter law, design, management, and civil services. Your stream does not lock you into only science careers.
