As per a survey published on the India Today website on September 18, 2021, 33 percent of educated Indian youth are unemployed because they lack future-ready skills. Also, people in the age group of 18–23, or 74 percent of the population, are unable to gain admission to the higher education system because it is unaffordable and inaccessible.
