Communication. Speaking, writing and presenting clearly is valuable in every field, and often matters more than top grades in interviews and at work. Build it early.
Digital and tech skills. Basic comfort with technology, plus skills like working with data, a little coding, design, or using AI tools, are increasingly essential across careers, not just in IT.
Critical thinking and problem-solving. The ability to analyse a problem and find solutions is something automation cannot easily replace. Build it by questioning, reasoning and solving real problems, not just memorising.
